Keeping the right color

One of the most important things that you need to do is make sure that you get the color scheme exactly. There are now many different types of vivid bathroom colors, including yellow bathtubs, bright red bathtubs, and even pink bathtubs. You may go for something such as a muted blue or maybe a very light green.

As well as the color, you need to decide on the bathtub shape. Long gone are the days when the only thing you could choose was an oblong bathtub. This is important, because something such as an oblong or a square bathtub may be right up your street, but you may want to look at something such as a round bathtub, or even an oval tub, since this will fit in well with a softer feel. You may need to go to a specialist bathroom showroom, though there are now different bathtub shapes, including a heart-shaped bathtub.

The Romantic Bathroom

If you are looking to make the bathroom a really romantic place, then you may want to look at having a two-person bathtub, perhaps with seats, and you'll need to consider the actual bathtub size. There are many different styles of two-person bathtub. Due to many modern bathtub designs being able to make the most of space, you can find a bathtub that is about the same size as an average bathtub, but yet will fit two people very comfortably. You may want to go for Japanese bathtubs, because the Japanese tub is one of the best soaking tubs you can come by, essentially because it is a deep style bathtub yet still be compact.

If you do not want to go for the Oriental bathtub feel, you can take a look at American Standard bathtubs. This company has a huge number of bathtub styles, and also many different tubs sizes. American Standard freestanding bathtubs have become popular. Many people like to put a freestanding bathtub on a pedestal.

However, even if you do go for the antique bathtub style, there are now many different modern materials which can give you the antique style. And you can have the luxury of a whirlpool tub. The whirlpool tub can give you a Jacuzzi style massage.

If you want a very classic style then you may like to go for a porcelain or marble finish, but you must remember that these will be very expensive choices and so make sure that you have a very deep pocket! Overall it is important that you do as much research into all the different bathtub styles as you possibly can before making your decision because a bathroom is something you will need to stay with for a long time.

I really like the look of the deep bathtubs you find in the top end bathroom showrooms. They cost a lot of money but I think they turn a bathroom into someplace special. I might buy a soaking tub for my birthday as a treat!

I agree that Japanese bathtubs are one of the best tubs you can buy, though they can cost you quite a bit of money. You can find some cheap japanese tubs if you look around, but it will take some time.

I have more or less decided that a Japanese bathtub is the right choice for me. I know they are expensive but I really do want a deep soaking tub to add some luxury to my life.

Refurbishing a bathroom in an expensive business, but if you look around you can get some good deals. I'm looking at installing a sunken bathtub in my bathroom and I found some great stuff at some online suppliers at really good discounts.

I have a stack of bathroom showroom catalogs so and I am absolutely amazed at some of the freestanding bathtubs that are in there. Some of them are pretty expensive, but I think I can just about manage it if I save some money. I think they will make my bathroom look great!
