Sunken Jacuzzi Tubs For The Luxury Feel

There are many things you can do to enhance the look of your bathroom, but one of the most exciting things you can do is take a look at the range of sunken Jacuzzi bathtubs.

A Jacuzzi, a modern Jacuzzi at least, will often also have a whirlpool. You also need to take a look at having both water jets and air jets, because this will give you a far better massage over all.

Total Bathroom Refurbishment

Sunken bathtubs of any style are often expensive. This is also true of a freestanding bathtub, but the sunken tub will usually need far more design work. This is even more the case when the sunken tub is of a nonstandard size.

A way to cut down on the costs is to simply fit a standard sunken bathtub. There are many different sunken styles, in a range of shapes such as the standard oblong bathtub, a square tub, and even shapes such as oval and heart-shaped. These tubs are made from acrylic, and can be molded into many different interior shapes. These are much more common in a two-person bathtub.

Bright Colors For The Bathroom

Other bathtub materials include fiberglass and ceramic. If you really want to go for the luxurious feel then having a porcelain bathtub could be the right thing. What can be an advantage of choosing some of the cheaper materials, such as acrylic and fiberglass, is that there are now a wide range of bathtub colors available. These can include everything from simple white and green, right up to such exotic colors as bright red, pink, and even yellow.

There are a large number of Jacuzzi sunken tubs on the market, including 60" x 42" model by Mito. Retailing at around $1,400, this is a 21" deep whirpool bath with a 62 gallon fill. It has 6 jets, sculpted armrests and a bow-tie bath shape. A sloping backrest is part of the design, while the salon spa offers instant relaxation. Another model that can be worth consideration is the Elara Salon Spa. Measuring 72"x 42" x 26" and retailing at approximately $4,000, this is a drop-in bathtub holding 95 gallons. It has 12 jets, including 4 adjustable TheraPro jets and 2 AccuPro foot jets. It also has a variable speed heated air blower and a chromatherapy option for relaxation. If real luxury is required, a good choice can be the Kohler 139 RiverBath® round whirlpool tub. The bathtub has eight Flexjet™ whirlpool jets and four Riverjets™ to give a powerful hydro-massage. This is a two person Jacuzzi, and retails at around $9, 600.

Corner Jacuzzi For Space And Comfort

One thing that many people like to do is to fit a corner Jacuzzi bathtub. Many think the corner bathtubs need to be small, but you can have quite good depth. This means you can soak in very deep hot water, so do a search for deep Jacuzzi bathtubs online and take a look at some of the various styles.

Overall, the best thing you can do is take advice from a professional bathroom contractor, since the installation of a sunken tub, Jacuzzi or otherwise, can be a difficult business, and it really will pay to get the best professional help you can afford. Then once the tub is installed, all you need to do is sit back and relax and allow the massage machine to take away the pain of your aching muscles.

I agree about the sunken jacuzzi. I used one at a friend's house and I was hooked. You can get a normal whirlpool, but a sunken bathtub is always much deeper and really feels luxurious.

I installed a sunken jacuzzi tub a few months ago and I can honestly say it's one of the best things I ever bought. It's a pretty expensive thing to buy, but worth the money, I think.

My friend just installed bathtub that has air jets as well as water jets, and I tried it at a place and it was absolutely wonderful. I'm looking at installing one of these in my own place now.

Jacuzzis are a great thing, but it can be a good idea to get one with a whirlpool as well. I've just been looking at a few designs and there are some really great models on the market. You can get some good deals as well at the moment if you look around.

As far as I'm concerned you can't beat a Jacuzzi bathtub. This is especially true if you have one that has a built-in heater, because you get the water massage and a soaking at the same time.

I used to have a freestanding tub, a traditional thing but now I'm looking at installing a Jacuzzi. I think there are some great deals available at the moment and I'm going to take advantage of the low prices.
